Restorative Dentistry is a term for dental procedures done in order to make your smile healthy and beautiful once more! These procedures can include fillings, crowns, bonding, fixed partials (bridges), and implants.
Crowns are great for when a tooth is broken or has large/several cavities, but does not need to be removed. It often is completed between 2-3 visits. On your first visit, the dentist preps the tooth after removing damages and plaque. Impressions of the tooth are taken by the dentist and sent to the lab to make your custom-tailored crown! A temporary crown is then placed over the tooth until the permanent crown is ready. If you have multiple teeth that need to be restored, a partial(bridge) could be a great option! Tooth loss can affect your self esteem, eating habits, and your speech. Bridges or partials are false teeth supported between two crowns. They are most commonly made of porcelain fused with metal, which is durable, but also aesthetic. On your first visit, abutment teeth are made for the crowns. A temporary partial is created just like the crown process. On your second visit, the partial is custom-fitted so you feel comfortable all the time!
We offer many services such as fillings, crowns, bonding, fixed partials (bridges), and implants.
